Interior Execution Methodology
A structured system for delivering complex interior projects without loss of intent.
Interni’s methodology governs technical coordination, procurement logic and site execution as one integrated framework — ensuring clarity, accountability and continuity from project definition to handover.
We apply this methodology across our residential, hospitality, and superyacht interior projects — as well as large-scale kitchen and cabin fit-outs where execution complexity requires structured control.Interior Project Delivery Steps
Step 01
Project Definition & Constraint Alignment
Each project starts with the formal definition of objectives, constraints and decision boundaries. Functional requirements, technical limitations, timelines and budget parameters are aligned into a structured project brief that removes assumptions and establishes a clear execution baseline. This step locks the reference framework against which all subsequent decisions are measured.
Step 02
Technical Coordination & Design Resolution
Design intent is translated into a coordinated technical package ready for execution. All drawings are reviewed for constructability, interfaces are resolved across disciplines, and responsibilities are clearly assigned. The outcome is a fully aligned set of documents that eliminates ambiguity, reduces site risk and enables controlled execution.
Step 03
Material Systems & Procurement Validation
Materials are defined as integrated systems, not isolated finishes. Each specification is assessed against performance requirements, certifications, lead times, logistics constraints and installation tolerances. Selections are validated to ensure consistency between design intent, procurement feasibility and site execution.
This phase operates in direct coordination with our FF&E procurement method — from technical specification and sourcing strategy to supplier validation and controlled site delivery.
Step 04
Execution Planning & Site Control
Execution is managed through a structured delivery plan that defines sequencing, responsibilities, interfaces and quality controls. In-house teams and specialist partners operate within a coordinated framework aligned with approved technical documentation. Site activities are governed to maintain schedule integrity, construction quality and full alignment with the defined execution baseline.
Step 05
Installation & Final Integration
Installation is treated as a controlled phase of execution, governed by approved documentation, defined tolerances and on-site coordination. Interfaces between finishes, systems and bespoke elements are verified in real time to ensure accuracy, consistency and readiness for handover.
Step 06
Post-Handover Support & Continuity
After handover, support is maintained to manage refinements, additional scopes or operational adjustments. Continuity of knowledge and responsibility ensures that what has been delivered remains consistent with the original execution framework.
A disciplined process is the foundation of successful interior execution.
